Santa II (looking a lot like one of our members) sifts through the coloring to pick a winner. It was a hard job. He is assited by Chief Elf Rita Schief.

We meet the first and third Wednesday of each month at 12:30 pm
at the Knights of Columbus located at
9707 Rosensteel Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910

The Wheaton-Silver Spring Kiwanis Club is dedicated to serving the Wheaton and Silver-Spring area through various service and fundraising projects. Our club has been in service to our community for more than 60 years. A big part of our Club's service is our sponsored leadership youth programs. We sponsor  the Key Clubs of Wheaton High School, Paint Branch High School, Good Counsel High School and Kennedy High School  and the Builders Club at Parkland Magnet Middle School. Our goal is to build a better community by providing these children with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and the appreciation of community that comes through serving others. We also provide scholarships to Wheaton High School Students.

But we are not alone! Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. We are part of Kiwanis International, an organization that is now over 100 years old. Membership in Kiwanis and its family of clubs is more than 600,000 members strong. Each year, Kiwanis clubs raise more than US$100 million and report more than 18.5 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children. For the last several years Kiwanis International has been dedicated to Project Eliminate, an effort to rid the world of Maternal/Neonatal Tetanus (MNT).
